A Tribute to My Mother

Hi everyone! I love this time of the year, as the sun shines warmer and the flowers begin to bloom. It’s the perfect time to celebrate Mother’s Day this month! As I reflect on the influence my mother had on my life and the lasting legacy she left behind, I’d like to share a tribute to her. Ever since I can remember till very recent, my mom was always available for me when I needed support and she continues to inspire me every day.

With my lab being just a few short miles from my parents’ home, I would often stop by to visit during the work day. As they got older, my visits became an opportunity for me to help them with anything they needed. My mom was my dad’s caregiver. She was always so resourceful and wanted to do everything herself and rarely asked for help. To relieve some of the workload, I scheduled my days to allow myself time to help her.

One of the most cherished rituals we shared was our daily conversations at 4:30. Not only did it give both my mom and dad something exciting to look forward to each day, it also helped me. During those times, she shared her wise and caring words, which made me feel better and inspired me. It reminded me to stay strong and independent. She taught me to believe in myself and trust my instincts to handle life's challenges confidently.

This Mother's Day, as I pay tribute to my mother's memory, I'm grateful for the time we spent together and the invaluable lessons she taught me. Her legacy lives on in the core values she instilled in me, shaping not only my personal journey but also the person I've become.

As I look back — caring for my parents as they aged while running my lab, has been the toughest period of my be life and career. I’m truly grateful for all my doctors who supported me during the ups and downs I experienced during that time. You really helped me get through some of my most challenging days. Thank you!

Even in her final days as I juggled the demands of my growing business, my mom always insisted that I focus on my dreams and my family — assuring me that my success brought her pride and joy.

With a newfound appreciation for life, I now enter a new chapter where I can dedicate my focus to my dental laboratory. I carry with me her belief in my potential and her relentless determination to see me succeed. I'm thankful for the strong foundation she laid and the resilience she cultivated in me, guiding me towards a future filled with promise and potential.
